Ballyhoo enters selected students into local dance festivals throughout the year. These offer a fantastic opportunity to dance on stage alongside the best of the other schools in the region. The students compete in modern, tap,ballet,character,lyrical , song and dance sections performing solos, duets and trios.
For the first time this Autumn, Ballyhoo will enter two modern groups into the Gloucester Festival.
Our students have competed in many regional festivals over the last few years such as Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol, Devizes, Perhsore, Highbridge and Swindon.
We are proud to say that we now boast many medal winners amongst our festival team, but the most valuable part of dancing in festivals is the experience that the children gain, learning team spirit, gaining confidence on stage and understanding the value of commitment, dedication and hard work.
