We have two daughters who currently enjoy ballet, modern and tap dance classes with Heidi and Julie at Ballyhoo; my eldest has been attending for ten years (she's now fourteen and a senior dancer), and my youngest is seven and working through the early grades with great enthusiasm. We have watched both girls thrive, both in their regular weekly classes and additionally in the wonderful extra opportunities extended to them in the form of group and solo projects for dance festivals, shows and charity events. The benefits of dance classes with Ballyhoo are truly limitless; aside from developing excellent fitness and physical skills, both of our daughters have found their dance classes so important for mental health, general well-being and connecting with other children who love expressing themselves through dance. We can also see the skills gained in terms of teamwork, concentration and practising disciplines that will help them in all walks of life.I would urge any parent whose child enjoys dance to book a trial lesson. It isn't just a dance school, it's a dance family - and the fun, joy of expression through music and movement, and shared love of performance - is at the very heart of the Ballyhoo family.
